Position
The Revenue Cycle Manager (RCM) oversees all aspects of the laboratory revenue cycle, billing, and reimbursement operations, including direct supervision of an offshore medical billing team in the Philippines.
This position ensures accurate claims submission, coding compliance, denials management, and payer follow-up for molecular diagnostics, toxicology, and other clinical laboratory services.
The ideal candidate is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) with hands-on laboratory billing experience and proven success leading large billing teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full end-to-end laboratory revenue cycle, including charge capture, claim submission, payment posting, and A/R follow-up
- Supervise and develop a billing team of approximately 40, including offshore medical billing specialists
- Ensure accurate CPT (80000 series) and ICD-10 coding for all laboratory procedures in compliance with payer, Medicare, and Medicaid requirements
- Oversee claim edits, denials, appeals, and reimbursement optimization
- Establish and maintain SOPs, KPIs, and billing workflows to improve accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with laboratory operations, finance, and IT to resolve billing or system issues
- Prepare RCM performance reports and identify revenue leakage, denial trends, and process improvements
- Stay current on payer policy changes, CLIA regulations, and healthcare billing compliance
- Serve as the escalation point for complex billing or client issues
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
Education
- Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST
- 100% Remote — open to candidates in Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and Texas
- Job Type: Full-time, W2
- Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 annually, depending on experience (final offer determined by the hiring manager)
