As a Hybrid Sales Account Manager, you will manage a multi-specialty territory that includes mobile geriatric physicians, primary care, and pain management accounts. This role requires a thorough understanding of the healthcare or medical field and either healthcare experience combined with strong sales experience or medical sales experience. You will cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and present our products and services to potential clients. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate key accounts and expand market presence in your assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients across multiple specialties, including mobile geriatric physicians, primary care, and pain management.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our products and services.
- Collaborate with the team on targeted campaigns and promotional materials to support sales efforts.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and potential growth opportunities.
- Provide ongoing support and training to clients on product usage, troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention by proactively addressing any concerns.
- Other duties as assigned by management based on business needs.
Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of sales experience is required.
- Candidates with healthcare experience combined with strong sales experience or medical sales experience will be preferred.
- A thorough understanding of the healthcare or medical field is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the medical diagnostics industry, such as CLIA and FDA regulations, is highly desired.
- Knowledge of molecular diagnostics, core laboratory testing, and toxicology procedures and technologies is a plus.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in the medical or healthcare industry.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software, such as Salesforce, to track sales activities and manage client interactions.
- Advanced presentation skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences, including clinicians, laboratory managers, and C-suite executives.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and formulate actionable insights.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and thrive in a dynamic, results-driven culture.
- Professional certifications related to sales or healthcare management (e.g., Certified Sales Professional, Certified Medical Representative) are a plus.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related discipline preferred.
Compensation
- Salary Range: Base salary $55,000
- Bonus Structure: Account managers are expected to be on track in their first 6 months to earn six figures in their first year of employment. The bonus structure will be covered by the hiring managers, not the recruiter.
- Travel and Mileage Reimbursement: and expense coverage.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Semi-flexible schedule.
- Work Location: Reno, Nevada, covering the surrounding areas of Reno.
