Position

As a Laboratory Toxicology Junior Supervisor, you will assist the Toxicology Supervisor in our mission to provide precise and prompt lab results while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and modifying Standard Operating Procedures for validations and clinical testing.
  • Help oversee LC/MS and Mass Spectrometry instruments.
  • Step in as Acting Supervisor when the Supervisor is on PTO.
  • Assist in interpreting data and generating patient result reports.
  • Help manage Quality Control Runs and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure laboratory safety compliance and instrument standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to new employees.
  • Conduct risk assessments and report findings.
  • Assist in advising on the safe handling of toxic substances.
  • Aid in laboratory inspections and maintain standards.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree or higher in chemistry, biology, clinical laboratory science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years documented experience in clinical lab toxicology. 
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a methodical approach to work.
  • Proficiency in collecting and analyzing large volumes of experimental data.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong work management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and deliver test results promptly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Schedule: Swing Shift - Flexible Hours, likely Tuesday to Saturday, and will move to a Wednesday to Sunday schedule in the future.

Background Check Requirement:

A background check is required for this position. Continued Employment is dependent on the outcome of the background check.

Salary Range: 65 to 75k
