Position Overview
This is an opportunity to build and grow a new Tucson, AZ, market with significant earnings potential for high performers. The Sales Account Manager will develop relationships with primary care physicians, expand our presence, and drive revenue growth. This role requires a proactive and strategic sales approach, focusing on business development, prospecting, and securing long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to establish and expand business in the Tucson metro area.
- Identify and secure new clients, focusing on mobile physicians and geriatric care providers.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, ensuring consistent deal flow.
- Deliver compelling presentations and educate clients on the value of our diagnostic services.
- Negotiate contracts and build long-term partnerships with healthcare providers.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competition, and market opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support client needs and ensure service excellence.
- Provide ongoing account management, ensuring client retention and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of sales experience, preferably in healthcare or medical sales.
- Background in B2B or direct sales, with a proven ability to generate and close new business.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills in a competitive market.
- Ability to work independently, manage a territory, and drive results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track sales activities.
- Familiarity with CLIA and FDA regulations is a plus.
- Knowledge of molecular diagnostics, core lab testing, and toxicology is advantageous.
Education
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Compensation
- Salary Range: Base salary $55,000.
- Bonus Structure: Account managers are expected to be on track in their first 6 months to earn six figures in their first year of employment. The hiring manager will provide bonus structure details, not the recruiter.
- Travel and Mileage Reimbursement: Covered expenses.
- Ideal Start Date: Whenever we find the right candidate.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with a semi-flexible schedule.
- Work Location: Tucson, AZ, covering the surrounding metro area.
- Job Type: Full-Time.
