Medical Courier Driver (Evening, part-time)
Rocky Mountain Laboratories specializes in molecular diagnostics for infectious diseases and toxicology. We are dedicated to delivering accurate and timely diagnostic information and are committed to improving healthcare outcomes through cutting-edge diagnostics and a customer-focused approach.
This part-time courier role supports the timely and secure transport of medical specimens and supplies across the Las Vegas area. Shifts begin between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM and end by 8:30 PM or midnight. Couriers use a company vehicle and are responsible for handling deliveries with care, following safety protocols, and providing excellent customer service. Availability Monday through Saturday is required.
Schedule:
- 2 to 4 shifts per week
- Shifts start between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM, ending at 8:30 PM or midnight
- Must be available Monday through Saturday, from as early as 2:00 PM through midnight (depending on route/shift)
Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver medical specimens and supplies on schedule
- Communicate with dispatch and clients to coordinate pickups and follow instructions
- Maintain and operate a company vehicle safely and cleanly
- Follow all specimen handling protocols and regulatory guidelines
- Use routing software/GPS and log deliveries accurately
- Provide courteous service to all clients
- Perform vehicle checks and report any issues
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Active smartphone with data
- Comfortable driving at night
- At least 2 years of driving experience
- Able to use routing software
- Detail-oriented and reliable
- Personal vehicle insurance is required (for insurance eligibility — you’ll be driving a company vehicle on shift)
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada and surrounding area
Pay: $18.00/hour
Status: Part-time, W2
- Company vehicle provided during shifts
- Eligible for 8% differential for hours worked between 8 PM–4 AM and weekends
- 10% monthly performance bonus
