Position
We are seeking a driven, highly competitive Sales Account Manager to join Rocky Mountain Laboratories to cover toxicology accounts across Arizona and Nevada. This role requires a significant investment of time and effort, with frequent travel throughout these states. The ideal candidate has strong sales experience, a proven track record in competitive markets, and at least two years of sales experience—preferably in medical sales. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a fast-paced, challenging territory and drive business growth with uncapped earning potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute aggressive sales strategies to capture and grow market share across Arizona and Nevada
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through persistence, creativity, and a solutions-focused approach
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor
  • Lead contract negotiations and guide prospects through the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing deals
  • Deliver compelling product presentations tailored to client needs, demonstrating the value of our services
  • Stay ahead of competitive market trends to anticipate client needs and gain a strategic advantage
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute targeted campaigns and optimize sales efforts
  • Provide excellent post-sale support, ensuring client satisfaction and retention
  • Track and report on key metrics, maintaining accountability for achieving and exceeding sales goals
  • Other duties as assigned by management to support business objectives

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of professional sales experience
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a proactive, self-driven mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Arizona and Nevada
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for regional travel
  • Proficiency in using basic office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sales experience in medical, healthcare, or laboratory diagnostics
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for managing pipelines and client records
  • Experience in territory management across multiple states or large regions
  • Knowledge of toxicology, molecular diagnostics, or laboratory services
  • Experience presenting to healthcare professionals and executive stakeholders
  • Experience navigating healthcare systems in Arizona and Nevada
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field

All positions require time zone awareness, including the impact of daylight saving time, as we are a multi-state organization with teams and partners across different U.S. time zones. Clear communication and timely coordination are essential.

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is a bonus but not required

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, semi-flexible schedule

Job Type:

  • Full-Time

Salary:

  • Base salary: $75,000

  • Bonus structure: High performers are expected to earn six figures within their first year; details provided by the hiring manager

  • Travel and mileage reimbursement included

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Arizona or Nevada: Must reside within one of these states and be willing to travel frequently within both states. (Required) The initial main territories will be Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas, and Reno.
