Position
As a Sales Account Manager, you will focus on building relationships with primary care physicians, identifying new business opportunities, and presenting our services to potential clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with door-to-door or business-to-business (B2B) sales and strong communication skills to drive revenue growth. This role will cover the surrounding Las Vegas metro area.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market presence in your assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, with a focus on mobile physicians specializing in geriatric care.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our diagnostics services.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage the sales process from prospecting to deal closure.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and growth opportunities.
- Provide ongoing support and training to clients on service usage and best practices.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention by proactively addressing concerns.
- Other duties as assigned by management based on business needs.
Qualifications
- At least two years of sales experience, preferably in medical or healthcare sales.
- Experience in door-to-door or B2B sales is highly desired.
- Experience thriving in a competitive market is highly desired.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proven negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the medical diagnostics industry, such as CLIA and FDA regulations, is a plus.
- Advanced presentation skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences, including clinicians, laboratory managers, and C-suite executives.
- Knowledge of molecular diagnostics, core laboratory testing, and toxicology is advantageous.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) to manage client interactions and track activities.
- Analytical skills to interpret sales data and identify actionable insights.
- Professional certifications in sales or healthcare management (e.g., Certified Sales Professional) are a plus.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred.
Compensation
- Salary Range: Base salary $55,000.
- Bonus Structure: Account managers are expected to be on track in their first 6 months to earn six figures in their first year of employment. Bonus structure details will be provided by the hiring manager.
- Travel and Mileage Reimbursement: Covered expenses.
- Ideal Start Date: Whenever we find the right candidate.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with a semi-flexible schedule.
- Work Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, covering the surrounding metro area.
