Position

Rocky Mountain Laboratories is hiring two Medical Sales Representatives in the Denver metro area, one covering North Denver and one covering South Denver. This is a high-autonomy, field-based outside sales role. You’ll take over existing client accounts and build new business across three service lines:

  • Mobile medicine: house-call groups, home health, assisted living, skilled nursing, and hospice
  • Toxicology: pain management, addiction treatment, behavioral health, and rehab
  • Primary care and outpatient: family and internal medicine, pediatrics, OB-GYN, urology, endocrinology, and other specialty clinics

You’ll spend most of your week in the field with physicians, practice managers, and facility leaders. Candidates may come from medical, diagnostic, pharmaceutical, or other B2B field sales.

Pay and schedule

  • Pay: $55,000 base plus weekly bonus, with a guaranteed minimum of $1,442.31/week ($75,000 annualized). Each week you’re paid whichever is higher: $1,442.31, or $1,057.69 plus that week’s bonus.
  • Bonus: uncapped, based on facility type, facility size, and complete order information. All account managers are expected to earn well above their guarantee.
  • Expenses: up to $650 per month for fuel, mileage, and phone, plus a company credit card for approved expenses
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, semi-flexible
  • Job type: Full time, W2
  • Location: field-based in your assigned territory (North or South Denver). You must live in or relocate to the Denver metro area before starting.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run a territory plan, prioritizing mobile medicine and toxicology accounts
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts through regular onsite visits and account reviews
  • Find ways to expand testing services within current accounts
  • Prospect for new business through cold outreach, referrals, and consistent onsite visits
  • Present to physicians, NPs and PAs, practice managers, MAs, directors of nursing, and facility administrators
  • Fit your approach to each setting: clinic ordering, mobile and in-home collection, and recurring toxicology monitoring
  • Manage new accounts from first contact through contracting and onboarding
  • Resolve service issues quickly and work with internal teams to keep clients
  • Keep CRM records, pipeline, and forecasts accurate and current
  • Follow company policy and the healthcare rules that govern lab sales and referrals
  • Share what’s working in your territory and help refine the sales playbook
  • Other duties as assigned

Required qualifications

  • 2+ years of field sales, outside sales, or B2B sales experience
  • A track record of growing existing accounts while finding and closing new business on your own
  • Confident presenting to clinical and administrative teams
  • Experience with a CRM system (such as Salesforce) and mobile field tools
  • Able to work independently and manage a high-activity territory
  • Willing to travel frequently throughout your territory
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred qualifications

  • Medical, diagnostic, laboratory, or pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Experience selling into toxicology, pain management, or addiction treatment settings
  • Experience with home health, mobile physician groups, senior living, or post-acute care providers
  • Understanding of clinical workflows, test ordering, or specimen collection
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance (HIPAA, CLIA, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law)
  • A record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
