Position Overview

Rocky Mountain Laboratories is hiring an IT Support Specialist to join our team in Draper, Utah. This role offers an opportunity to play a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing our technology infrastructure while supporting employees across various locations. Responsibilities

  • Set up and configure workstations, including computers, printers, and label makers, to ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations.
  • Troubleshoot basic IT issues remotely for other locations, minimizing downtime and ensuring user satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with different departments on special projects, such as optimizing advanced spreadsheets for reporting and functionality.
  • Audit and maintain company asset trackers to ensure accurate records.
  • Assist in assembling desks and workspaces to support employee productivity.
  • Provide hands-on support for hardware and software issues, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Document IT procedures and support activities for consistent practices across the organization.
  • Utilize Google Workspace to support IT and business operations, including spreadsheet functionality and data management.
  • Research and teach yourself new technologies or tools to enhance IT support capabilities.
  • Perform additional IT tasks as needed to support organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is desired but not required (recent or soon-to-be graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Knowledge of IT concepts and principles.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, with advanced skills in Google Sheets and spreadsheet reporting.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a bonus.

Pay

  • $18–24/hour

Schedule

  • Start Date: Whenever we find the right fit.
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Location: Onsite in Draper, UT.
